This is a blog where we can have online discussions about the passages that we are reading together.  These online discussions will be a continuation of those we have when we are face to face.  Click on a tab above to comment on a specific passage.  You can comment on as many passages as you would like!

Shared Inquiry

We are using the shared inquiry method, which means we are all exploring different view points of the same questions.  The conclusions and interpretations that you have of each passage may be different from other readers.

Guidelines For Shared Inquiry

• Be respectful
• Always support your interpretations with evidence from the text.
• Only discuss texts that everyone in the group has read.

Guidelines For Online Participation

• You must have parent/guardian approval to comment.
• Choose a user name that does not reveal personal information.  (use only first names)
• Use appropriate language, grammar and punctuation.*  Sentences begin with a capital letter and end with punctuation, people! :)  
• Stay on topic.

*A good way to do this is to edit your comments. Read over what you've typed out and check to see if it makes sense and look for errors before your publish it.
