 1.  Why does Mrs. Jones give Roger money for the blue suede shoes?
2.  Why doesn't Roger run away when Mrs. Jones turns him loose to wash his face?

    1. I think Mrs. Jones gives Roger the money because she knows he has learned that stealing isn't okay.

    1. I think she gives him the money because she has learned to trust him/thinks he has become trustworthy.
    2. He probably knows she cares.

    1. I think Mrs.Jones gave Roger the money because Mrs.Jones didn't want Roger stealing from anyone else.
    2. I think Roger didn't run away because he was actually being well taken care of.
